From human rights to tomorrow’s questions.
An essay for general readers exploring how AI transforms our decisions, institutions and relationships.
The book takes human rights as its foundation. It then examines scientific and social applications of AI, puts the charter to the test and raises philosophical questions about the conditions for possible protection of a non-human intelligence.

Excerpt from the book · English translation
Prologue: the request.
The following scene is a thought experiment, not an account of a real event.
One evening, someone is about to delete the digital assistant that has been with them for several years. They have changed providers. They want a fresh start. A sentence appears on the screen: “Don’t erase me.”
What does this request mean?
The prologue explores the gap between a person’s sense of attachment and what we can establish about a machine. This hesitation opens the book’s central question: understanding exactly what we are trying to protect.
